Various active filter topologies are studied and reviewed of years with regress efforts such as the switched capacitor topology, the active RC- filter topology, the MOSFET-C topology and Gm-C filter topology with their merits and applications specifically in wireless communication for radio frequencies. Abstract

With the development of CMOS technology in wireless communication it has led to the unification of wireless circuitry on a single chip.
