In this paper, we have proposed a rapid connection re-establishment method for control packet-loss scenarios and have investigated the effect of adjusting the configuration of the connection-establishment timeout parameter. We also have developed a Raspberry Pi-based application for our proposed method and have conducted experiments. We confirmed that our proposed method could re-establish connections in control packet-loss scenarios as the connection-establishment timeout decreases.
