The objectives of the study were; to suggest possible means of managing conflicts at HEIs level, to determine the causes of conflicts in higher education institutions of learning in Uganda, to describe the processes used in the management of conflict in HEIs, to describe the positive and negative contributions of conflicts on the performance of HEIs. The study contributed to the area of conflict management by sighting both the secular and Islamic approaches used in managing conflicts at the university. The relevance of conflicts towards building both institutional and interpersonal relationships among staff and students were also mentioned. Due to diverse cultures, experiences and education backgrounds, conflicts have also continued to occur. 高等院校的冲突管理。乌干达伊斯兰大学的个案研究
高等教育机构不断吸引着来自不同背景和经历的学生和教职员工。由于文化、经历和教育背景的不同,冲突也不断发生。本定性研究的目的是探讨乌干达伊斯兰大学如何管理冲突。根据研究问题设计了13个半结构化访谈问题,用于数据收集。我们联系了四位受访者,并通过回答采访问题做出了积极的回应。研究的目的是:提出在高等教育机构层面管理冲突的可能方法,确定乌干达高等教育机构冲突的原因,描述在高等教育机构管理冲突中使用的过程,描述冲突对高等教育机构绩效的积极和消极贡献。这项研究对冲突管理领域做出了贡献,发现了在大学管理冲突时使用的世俗和伊斯兰方法。还提到了冲突对建立教职员工和学生之间的机构关系和人际关系的相关性。因此,建议可以使用其他研究设计对更大的样本进行更多的研究,以接受乌干达伊斯兰大学关于冲突管理的研究结果的普遍性。
