Hence a new partial discharge acquisition method called integral ignition circuit acquisition based on compressed sensing is proposed in this paper. The simulation result is analyzed and compared to the reconstruction of the traditional sampling theorem. Abstract

Reliability of gas insulated switch gear (GIS) is closely related to the safety and stable operation of power system. It is necessary to monitor and collect the partial discharge signal to judge whether the fault or defect occurs. The traditional sampling theorem (Nyquist sampling theorem) will produce a large number of invalid signals and waste storage space, resulting in a large amount of stored data. Hence a new partial discharge acquisition method called integral ignition circuit acquisition based on compressed sensing is proposed in this paper. The simulation result is analyzed and compared to the reconstruction of the traditional sampling theorem.
