Abstract

This paper presents a 1×8 SIW fed Vivaldi antenna array with the size of 56mm×46mm, which provides high gain of more than 15 dBi at the mm-wave frequencies from 32.5 GHz to 39.5 GHz. A single SIW-fed Vivaldi element is first proposed, which has a bandwidth of 26.5–40 GHz with an average gain of ~6.5 dBi.
