Sufficient conditions are established in order to maximize the fault sensitivity and perturbation robustness of the residual generator. These conditions are given in Linear Matrix Inequality (LMI) terms. Abstract
In this paper, a new method to design a fault diagnosis based on a Fuzzy Bilinear Observer (FBO) for nonlinear systems is proposed. The nonlinear system is modeled as a Fuzzy Bilinear Model (FBM).
