Abstract

Single point incremental forming (SPIF) is a sheet metal forming process that the planning of precise tool path is a very important procedure. It is known that the tool path generated by Master Cam is suitable for axisymmetric and non-axisymmetric shape samples. However, G code directly generated by the Master Cam cannot be exported to numerical simulation software such as Ls-Dyna. Therefore, we propose a method to integrate the Master Cam and Ls-Dyna to realize SPIF.
