Optimistic elements in the poetry of Faiz and Rashid: Critical Analysis

Abstract

Keeping in view the optimistic elements, if we analyse the poetic work of  Faiz Ahmad Faiz and Noon Meem Rashid. We see the difference in he narrative of optimism owing to different way of thinking. But the fundamental ideology of loving the life, prosperity, hoping for good moments to come even if they are full of struggle and toiling or be it the trust on ups and downs of time or to remain pegged to awakening of some sentiment, the importance of life and living in a different way is equal found in both poets, Romanticism is crystal clear in Faiz’s work whereas just as the intensity of realization, extreme optimism is also integral to Rashid’s work.
