Abstract
This paper proposes a single controller placed on the primary side of an inductive power transfer (IPT) system to deliver a constant current to the electric vehicle (EV) batteries. The magnetic coupling structure model was developed in a finite element analysis software coupled to Simulink. Both theoretical and simulated results are presented to evaluate the proposed controller.
