Abstract
A method for radar target identification by range profile is proposed in this paper based on the combination of wavelet and evolutionary networks. The wavelet transform is used to pre-process the range profiles. A classifier based on evolutionary networks which is the integration of neural networks and a modified genetic algorithm is proposed.
