Abstract
ABSTRACTThis study aims to improve students' dancing ability by applying the Two Stay Two Stray learning model based on KD 4.1, which is to demonstrate dance moves based on concepts, techniques and procedures according to the count and beat. This study uses theories related to research topics such as the Two Stay Two Stray Learning Model by Aris Shoimin. The research method used is quantitative methods, data collection techniques carried out by observation, literature study and documentation. This type of research is pre-experimental pretest and posttest. The sample of this study consisted of 1 class, namely X-Mia class 1 SMA 3 Tanjungbalai. Class selection is done by purposive sampling. The instrument used in this study was the teacher observation sheet and student learning. The results of this study indicate an increase in students' dancing skills in the Tanjung Katung dance by conducting a pres test and post test assessment of dancing ability assessed from three aspects namely concepts, techniques and procedures. The pre-test results were obtained with an average value of 45.47 students using the lecture method, after which the Two Stay Two Stray Learning model was applied to 81.68 using the t-test these results indicate that there was a significant increase in students' dancing abilities with the learning model Two Stay Two Stray t> table is 18.17> 1.69 then the research hypothesis is accepted.
