This type of research is pre-experimental pretest and posttest. The sample of this study consisted of 1 class, namely X-Mia class 1 SMA 3 Tanjungbalai. Class selection is done by purposive sampling. The instrument used in this study was the teacher observation sheet and student learning. The results of this study indicate an increase in students' dancing skills in the Tanjung Katung dance by conducting a pres test and post test assessment of dancing ability assessed from three aspects namely concepts, techniques and procedures.
