The depression in female patients was significantly higher (M =12.0, SD =6.95) than the depression in male patients (M =10.0, SD = 5.89), but the anxiety in female patients was significantly lower (M = 9.5, SD = 4.51) than the anxiety in male patients (M = 11.5, SD = 3.697).
