Abstract

The articles deals with the theoretical aspects of the problem of intertexuality. The special attention is given to the formation of the term in the works of M.M. Bachtin and J. Kristeva and to its definition in the modern literary studies. Intertextuality is seen as a central feature of postmodern poetics, the basis of postmodern writing.
