Abstract

This article will present a few of the design considerations that were necessary in the implementation of the assembly language support for Interrupt Driven FORTRAN. Preliminary information appeared in an article in the previous issue of the SIGMINI Bulletin. Although that article described a single FORTRAN-callable subroutine for the control of an A/D subsystem, the Laboratory Support Library consisted of routines to control the entire interface, including D/A subsystems, relays and digital I/O.
