Abstract

Voice coverage in home mobile networks has always been a problem for telecom operators, and VoWiFi service based on the 3GPP S2b solution should solve the problem of accurate user location information before it can be commercially available in China. This paper focuses on the overall solution of accurate user location information and the procedure of acquiring and transferring user location information. In addition, a solution is proposed to support VoWiFi service for 5G SA users under the interworking architecture between ePDG/EPC and 5GS.
