Abstract
In this article, I present the concept of solidarity in the philosophy of Richard Rorty. I show the basics and sources of this specifi c understanding of the value of solida-rity. I present the basic concepts (contingency, irony, liberal ironist, sensitivity and tolerance) that make up this concept. I confront this approach with “objectivist” theories.
