Abstract

The article presents the analysis of the transient and steady-state modes of the synchronous generator with current compound excitation system and DC/DC converter for excitation regulation The research is performed by using the method of mathematical modeling. The adequacy of the model is confirmed by the experimental results. The currents’ distribution in the excitation system of the synchronous generator with current compound excitation system is described analytically.
