Abstract

This Paper describes a one dimensional Silicon Solar Cell using Micro-electromechanical Systems (MEMS) technology. The model is developed using Comsol Software. The maximum power generated is 6.8 mw. Presently Photovoltaic Cells are the core component for manufacturing a solar Cell. The high demand of solar energy needs high efficiency of photovoltaic Cells which is a common problem in modern one. In this paper the problem in the design of photovoltaic cells in case to increase the efficiency is sorted out in terms of formulation and Optimization.
