Abstract

Article using a combination of mathematical and statistical methods to establish the predictive coding model of all-zero block threshold under different cost function with different quantization parameter. Use this threshold model presented an all-zero block detection algorithm based on quantization parameters. Experiments show that the cost function using the established model of all-zero block threshold for early termination, and compare with Yang's algorithm when the quantification parameter is low, the estimated performance has drops slightly but PSNR has the average of 0.05db enhancement, when the quantification parameter is high, enhances 10%-18% during the estimated performance, PSNR also enhances approximately 0.06db.
