Abstract

This paper presents a set of algorithms dedicated to the 3D modeling of historical buildings from a collection of old architecture plans, including floor plans, elevations and cutoffs. Image processing algorithms help to detect and localize main structures of the building from the floor plans (thick and thin walls, openings).
