Abstract
The article indicates the role of electrocution in the structure of violent death according to the annual reports of the Bureau of Forensic Medicine of Ukraine, emphasizes the importance of the forensic medical evaluation of the electric current mark, which still continues to be one of the most important signs of the electric current impact on the body. Modern literary sources of information are analyzed and the most effective methods for determination of the electric current marks and forensic assessment of local changes in the area of electric current impact are described.
