Most economic and mathematical models for the development of the tourism industry are used to forecast the tourist flow and to calculate the economic performance of the tourism industry. The formation of models describing the economic, environmental and social sustainability of the tourist region, allowing to identify key factors of sustainable development, will contribute to ensuring a long-term positive effect from the development of the hospitality industry in the region. Abstract
A comprehensive solution to the economic, social and environmental issues of sustainable tourism development is impossible without the development of mathematical models and supporting tools to predict the main indicators of the sustainable development of tourism, identify key development factors, and determine the effectiveness of management decisions. Most economic and mathematical models for the development of the tourism industry are used to forecast the tourist flow and to calculate the economic performance of the tourism industry. The formation of models describing the economic, environmental and social sustainability of the tourist region, allowing to identify key factors of sustainable development, will contribute to ensuring a long-term positive effect from the development of the hospitality industry in the region.
