Abstract

An approximate calculation of a band-stop filter on a symmetric coplanar line and an experimental study of the calculated filter layout with the aim of comparing the theoretical and experimental results are carried out. A layout of a tunable band-stop filter, whose operating frequency without current in the windings of a compact magnetic system was 7715 MHz, was experimentally investigated. The tuning range of the filter layout when the current in the windings varies from -1.9 A to +1.9 A is 7058 - 8012 MHz, and its width is 954 MHz.
