The purpose of this paper is to determine the appropriate battery capacity to cope with this problem. The proposed algorithm begins with wind speed model. Then, the output power can be calculated based on Doubly Fed Induction Generator (DFIG) dynamic model. The rest of the interconnected power system is modeled as an infinite bus. The battery used in this analysis is lead-acid battery. The proposed algorithm has been tested with a constructed test system.
