The study collected responses and perceptions of this sample on six dimensions: clarity of behavior regulations, teacher's disciplinary methods, teachers' favoritism, corporal punishment, most widely used disciplinary methods & strategies, and most effectively used disciplinary methods & strategies. The analysis was carried out using SPSS, and thus a variety of findings were highlighted. These findings have shown that the students are aware of these disciplinary strategies and their importance, and that the variable of gender showed differences only on one of the study's dimensions related to the use of corporal punishment. Abstract

This research aimed to investigate high school students' perceptions of their social studies teachers' most practiced behavior control discipline strategies.
