Abstract

Videos recorded by CCTVs or car cameras are often tendered as evidences in legal proceedings and traffic accident investigations. Important information such as vehicle speed may be estimated from the video data to support the case. In such applications, to satisfy the standard of proof in a court of law, the timing parameters of the cameras must be calibrated.
