Abstract

The improvement of cutting tools through the use of tool materials and wear-resistant coatings, which, taking into account the cutting conditions, allow to increase the wear resistance of the tool due to the formation of secondary structures during friction in the cutting zone is considered. On the basis of thermodynamics of nonequilibrium processes the model has bееn developed, allowing to predict wear resistance and others tribotechnical parametres hardloaded hightemperature interfaces.
