Abstract

The increasing population of the world is demanding enhanced agricultural production to fulfill the nutrient requirement of the growing population. However, higher inputs are required to get maximum agricultural production that is resulting higher prices of agricultural products. Therefore, organic farming could be alternative to fulfill the nutrient requirement of the common people with low inputs. Organic farming concepts use environment-friendly practices with low external inputs. The study aimed to check the performance of organically grown four lentil cultivars, namely Eure 20, Sazak 91, Kayı 91, and Sultan 1, to check if their performance was at par with the traditionally grown lentils.
