The students’ writing achievement were compared between the pre and the post test. The result showed that there was statistically significant improvement of the students’ writing achievement after they were taught through blended learning by WhatsApp group chat. It could be seen from the computation of Paired Samples T-Test where the T-value (8.628) was higher than t-table (2.032) with the significance level of 0.00. Therefore, their perceptions toward blended learning through WhatsApp group chat in terms of five aspects of writing were also positive. Abstract
