Abstract

In this article, a bandwidth-enhanced slot-loaded antenna has been presented. The antenna comprises an elaborately designed radiation patch and a T-shaped slot-etched ground. The proposed antenna has a simulated −10 dB impedance bandwidth from 2.93 GHz to 16 GHz. A stable radiation pattern with better gain characteristics is obtained over the entire operational bandwidth.
