The System of Selection and Sale of Ready-to-Wear Clothes in a Virtual Environment

Abstract

An important task of modern sewing production is the creation of an effective tool for the operative retrieval and transformation of digital information on the features of the shape of a person's figure and a comparison of the data obtained with the dimensions of the garments produced for selecting garments with a high quality of planting. The article presents a system of virtual interaction between the garment industry and buyers by organizing online sales of manufactured clothes and presenting industrial collections on the Internet. The basic principle of the developed application is based on the use of a three-dimensional model of a person, determining the spatial dimensional features of a figure, revealing the relationship between the design parameters of clothing and the dimensional characteristics of the figure. The uniform criteria of comparison of parameters of clothes, patterns, sketch and figure of the person among themselves are offered. The system analyzes the external shape and anthropometric characteristics of the figure and determines the appropriate products from the assortment of the store.
