MATLAB has the advantage in data analysis and processing, and it integrates matrix calculation, numerical analysis, scientific data visualization, modeling and simulation of nonlinear dynamic systems and some other powerful functions in an easy-to-use windows environment so that it can provide a comprehensive solution for scientific research, engineering design, and some other fields. Accordingly, a simulation method of 16QAM modulation and demodulation based on MATLAB is proposed, which can simulate the 16QAM modulation and demodulation of the randomly-chosen signal as well as get the simulation image by compiling and running the matlab program.
