There is also a case where a cascaded PI control method uses fuzzy logic controller, commonly called fuzzy gain scheduling. The addition of fuzzy gain scheduling on the PI speed controller shows that the speed graph response of the PMDC is better than the speed response without fuzzy gain scheduling.
