The continuous-time-domain mathematical models under four basic modes are established, and the output voltage gains are derived in two conduction modes. Different conduction modes are compared and analyzed from several aspects to improve the system’s performance. In this paper, the critical conduction conditions are derived to optimize circuit parameters, guaranteeing the system to work in continuous conduction mode in the entire duty ratio. Abstract
