Total 42 samples of drinking water were collected from different sources such as tube well, tap water, ring well etc. of Lakhimpur municipality area of Lakhimpur district in the month of October 2022. This study aims at detecting the possibilities of ground water quality deteriorations due to improper solid waste dumping with special reference to heavy metal pollution. From the data collected in this study, it is seen that except Fe, the other heavy metals are present within the permissible limit. Abstract
The present study was carried out to determine water quality parameter such as pH, and the presence of heavy metals such as As, F, Fe, Hg and Pb.
