History of development of Physical Culture Department

Abstract

The article considers the work of Physical Culture Department from its foundation till nowadays. It shows sports achievements mainly in box, acrobatics, ski race, ping pong. The role of physical culture and mass work is noted, the high level of organization of which, including with the participation of foreign students from universities - partners of NIIGAiK–SSGA–SSUGT, was associated with the pas-sage of summer practices for students of 1–3 courses at the university training ground near the village of Izdrevaya.
