Treatment targets underlying causes of hyperbilirubinemia, and extracorporeal therapies like plasmapheresis and molecular adsorbent recycling system show potential efficacy. Abstract

This study investigates the role of bile cast nephropathy (BCN) in acute kidney injury associated with cholestatic liver disease.
