Abstract

Passive area sources, such as primary settling tanks, located near wastewater treatment plants can significantly impact odour air quality. This paper presents the variability of odour emissions from the primary settling tank at the Municipal Wastewater Treatment Plant (MWWTP) during a one-year study of odour concentrations determined by dynamic olfactometry.
