Abstract

The antigenic and genetic composition of bovine respiratory syncytial virus has been studied. It was found that among the structural proteins of RSV in cattle, the most significant in relation to the formation of immunity are proteins F and G, which cause the production of virus-neutralizing antibodies, and the F protein additionally stimulates the formation of CD8 + cytotoxic T cells, which has a reducing impact on the viral replication, and recovery of animals.
