On the struggle of the NKVD troops against sabotage and espionage on the railways during the Great Patriotic War

Abstract

The article reveals the historical experience of counteraction of the NKVD troops for the protection of railways to sabotage actions and the activity of Nazi agents within the steel highways of the USSR during the Great Patriotic War. The relevance of the study is determined by the strategic importance of railway transport in the context of ensuring state security, as well as the need to analyze and generalize the service and combat activities of law enforcement troops in war conditions within steel highways.
