The analysis highlights how the Scandinavian ECEC regime is made up of four interlinked elements; equality, the autonomous child, integration of care and learning and outdoor pedagogy, aligned and sustained by “gripping” and “sticking” forces in fantasmatic logics that hide contingencies.
