Inhibition zones formed around toothpastes after 24 hours of incubation were measured and the data collected were statistically analysed. The time-dependent killing assay was carried out on P. gingivalis. Abstract

阿育吠陀牙膏抗牙龈炎病原菌的体外疗效
目的:研究含阿育草药牙膏对口腔致病菌牙龈卟啉单胞菌(P. gingivalis)的体外治疗效果。本研究旨在评估含有阿育吠陀草药如Kalimirch、Pippali、Tomar、Sunthi、Lavang、Karpura和Pudina的Dabur红膏通过抑制致病微生物牙龈卟啉菌来预防牙龈疾病的功效。材料与方法:本品采用琼脂孔扩散法对牙龈假单胞菌进行抑菌试验。采用琼脂孔扩散法测定其抑菌效果。测定牙膏周围培养24小时后形成的抑制带,并对收集到的数据进行统计分析。对牙龈卟啉单胞菌进行了时间依赖性杀灭试验。结论:对含有Kalimirch、Pippali、Tomar、Sunthi、Lavang、Karpura、Pudina、Gairica等活性成分的阿育韦达膏体对口腔病原菌牙龈病的体外抑菌效果进行了评价,结果表明,在2 min接触时间内,对口腔病原菌牙龈炎的抑菌效果达99.95%。
