Abstract
A review of eight species of the genus Platydracus Thomson, 1858 inhabiting the Russian Far East is given. Two species are recorded for the fauna of Russia for the first time: P. inornatus (Sharp, 1874) from Primorskii krai and Khabarovskii krai and P. vicarius (Sharp, 1889) from Jewish Autonomous oblast and Primorskii krai. P. mortuorum (Bernhauer, 1912) is new for the fauna of Khabarovskii krai and P. demissus (Müller, 1925) is new for the fauna of Amurskaya oblast.
