估算生物控制剂的传播:利用引进的蜣螂进行案例研究
昆虫生物防治药剂的释放地点相对较少;因此,传播速率对于预测病原体的空间分布至关重要。自20世纪60年代以来,外来蜣螂被引入澳大利亚,用于掩埋粪便,减少丛林苍蝇数量,提高牧场生产力和改善牲畜健康。本文采用随机元胞自动机模型对西澳西南农业区引种屎壳郎的历史占用率和丰度进行了预测。该模型预测了四种蜣螂在最初释放后的10年内以6个月的时间步骤传播。我们的模型包括释放地点、物种特定的生态参数、粪便资源可用性和天气变量。物种间的平均传播速率最高(中间Euoniticellus intermedius)约79 km/年,最低(Onthophagus taurus)约28 km/年。因此,10年后,扩散面积在99,175 ~ 34,175 km2之间变化,丰度在88,100 ~ 4,189 km2之间变化。这些发现提供了对屎壳郎传播模式的估计。该模型可用于指导澳大利亚和其他地方未来的屎壳郎放生计划。
