Значимость новой дисциплины в вузах - «Основы российской государственности»

Abstract

The article examines the importance of a new discipline «Fundamentals of Russian statehood» in higher education institutions and presents a brief overview of the most relevant literature on this topic. The author chose the prognostic method and the principle of historicism as the methodological basis of the study. Knowledge of the «Fundamentals of Russian statehood» aims to improve students' knowledge of Russia and their love for it. In the five parts of the new discipline, an important place is occupied by the last part «Challenges of the future and the development of the country» – the prognostic one. This part of the «Fundamentals of Russian statehood» is the most difficult one. It, in addition to forecasting the scenario of the future of Russia, gives an assessment of Russian values and Russian identity.
