Abstract
My home diocese, the Episcopal Diocese of Maryland, has embraced the College for Congregational Development (CCD). In light of the fact that the CCD draws heavily upon organizational development theory and practice, I raise the question of how clergy respond to Alasdair MacIntyre’s critique of “the manager” in After Virtue.
