It is commonly seen in bone marrow transplant, organ transplant, AIDS and autoimmune disease requiring intense immunosuppressive therapy. Common variable immunodeficiency is a condition that affects both arms of the immune system and can lead to opportunistic infections. Abstract
Cytomegalovirus is a common herpes virus infection found worldwide and by adulthood majority become seropositive.
