The present study aims to evaluate the acute toxicity of polyherbal herbosol syrup in Wistar rats. Herbosol syrup formulation was administered orally at doses of 5, 50, 300, 2000 mL kg-1. Animals were divided into control and test groups, each with five animals. The control group was administered orally only with vehicle. After 14 days of study, all test animals were sacrificed and histopathology was done. During the study, four parameters were studied: cage side observation, change in body weight, hematology and histology. All animals survived till they were sacrificed. There were no changes in behavior, body weight, hematology or histological results.
