[Application of interdisciplinary collaboration, new diagnostic methods and therapeutic procedures in dental surgery].

Abstract

The authors, based on their own experience, draw attention to the necessity of interdisciplinary collaboration in the diagnosis and treatment of patients who need a surgical operation in the orofacial and craniofacial region. They draw attention to new diagnostic and therapeutic procedures and possibilities, and to the advantages of computer technique and the part played by microelectronics in stomato-surgical practice.
