Abstract
Prunella vulgaris is a traditional Chinese herbal medicine with many pharmacological effects, among which the anti-inflammatory effect is more significant. It is widely reported that Prunella vulgaris has anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, immune regulation, intestinal flora regulation and intestinal barrier protection effects on ulcerative colitis (UC).
